What is the best shopping guide that can be purchased? Preferably one that lists food items, safe brands, etc. I am trying to go back to square one and I feel I need to purchase a shopping guide?
Thanks.

Some supermarkets have gluten free lists, so you might want to check your supermarkets website before you go shopping.

I know there are some handy guides that are available for purchase. I just want some suggestions of which ones are the best.

When I was new that's what I wanted, too. But everything I looked at was so all-inclusive that I felt it was kind of a waste. There was too much info about things I had no interest in and would never buy.
I think most of us get to the point of making a list of what we normally bought and then checking each item out for suitability. For instance, look at your normal condiments. Check out each one to see if it is gluten free. If it is, great! If not, check into other brands. Continue on with other categories.
Soon - very soon - you will have your own customized guide at the perfect price. FREE!
Remember it's basically only the processed items you need to worry about. Fresh and frozen meats and produce (without sauces and seasonings) are OK naturally.
But back to your original question, I didn't find any of the so-called handy guides very useful at all.
