according to the 2003 edition (I don't know if the book has had other editions) of Restoring Your Digestive Health by Rubin and Brasco, Streptococcus thermophilus can trigger IBS in sufferers. only problem, this bacteria occurs in virtually all yogurts. this chimes in with a suspicion that I had that yogurt cheese (I love yogurt cheese) can cause problems.

can anyone confirm/deny? also can anyone suggest widely available yogurts which don't have this bacteria? thanks in advance.
