I need some recommendations for hair products.

My hair is coarse, wirey, thick, wavy, long and has a mind of its own. Straightening products have helped me get the prettiest results in the past. Products designed to enhance curl just make my hair kinkier. I used to love Aveda's light elements line, but they eliminated my favorite product and the replacement is crazy expensive for the amount of product I would need on my long hair.

I'm willing to spend in the neighborhood of $20.oo for something that works well. I've been using Dove or nothing and honestly like my hair on nothing days better than with the Dove products. With spring and humidity knocking on my door, I need help fast.

What can you recommend? I'm only interested in gluten-free products. thanks for the help ladies.
