Does anyone have a list of non-food gluten ingredients? The ingredients that are in shampoos and toothpaste, medicines, lotions anything that isn’t food related? I’ve read that it can’t be absorbing into the skin. Perhaps they are right but lately since I’ve been gluten free some shampoos and lotions seem to have a very bad effect on my skin. A rash and bumps that sting and burn and itch like crazy. So maybe they are right about it not being able to be absorbed into the skin but then again they have been wrong before so if anyone could help i would really appreciate it. Thanks

I use Desert Essence brand soaps and lotions. I have other allergies and this is a brand that seems to work for me. I was very happy to see they are "wheat and gluten" free as well! I can't wear any make-up and these products help to make a girl feel better about being so plain... Hope this helps some. I also disagree with the docs when it comes to how bad stuff enters my system. When they have my skin reactions for a couple of months I will be willing to consider their opinions as to how everything effects me.

here's a list with a lot of additives, including stuff that goes into non-food items. I've found that some things on the list (such as taco shells) do not contain gluten, depending on the brand. So it's always best to call the manufacturer.

Thanks, I've been looking for a list for over a week. It was getting a bit frustrating.
