Nassau Bahamas Travel Tips

I recently went to Sheraton at Nassau, Bahamas and I thought I'd share some of the gluten free restaurants I went to there.

Try the fish fry! You can get some good food at great prices and I did not have ANY reactions to gluten! I went to the Twin Brothers and had surf and turf as well as the Bahamian Baked Chicken another night. For sides I got rice and peas and colesaw. I also had the Steak at Seafood Haven. I had NO issues! Get the Miami Vice drinks from Twin Brothers, they are so good. only complaint is that you have to leave the restaurant to use the restrooms across the street. My boyfriend had to stay at the table so I was chased by local guys the whole way (nice for ego, bad for safety)

Also, my best surprise was at humidor churrascaria at Graycliff. All of the meats were gluten-free (or at least I had no reactions). They bring by all of these meats that are roasted, none breaded. Be careful of the salad bar at the beginning. The restaurant was romantic and so much fun when the kept on brining by the meats. I am very sensitive to gluten so I was so shocked that I had no gluten reactions at any restaurants. Oh, and I also had lobster and rice at Conch Fritters with no reaction. Be sure to check before eating, but these dishes were tested by me and passed the test. ENJOY!
