Hello,

Does anyone have the names and locations of good restaurants in the northern NJ area? :D

P.S. We loved the gluten-free menu at Outback's Steakhouse! :D :D

Hi Tammy,
Sorry you haven't gotten a reply sooner, I don't get online very often. Janice A Bistro, in Hohokus has gluten free selections. Often, she even has gluten-free bread (call ahead first). I also have had Greek Salad and Hummus (they let me bring my own crackers or bread) at "It's Greek To Me in Westwood. Cafe Capri is also very gluten-free friendly, in Hillsdale. Legal Seafoods in the Palisades Mall in W Nyack NY is gluten-free friendly. On another board, Don Pablo's was mentioned also in that mall. I haven't been there, but you can go on their website and find gluten-free selections. In Ridgewood, their is a wonderful Indian/Thai rest. that has been very accommodating.
There may be more in your area. The gluten free restaurant program featured through the Westchester Celiac Support Group has a few places listed. Let me know about your experiences eating in Northern NJ.

Try Raffo's on River Road in New Milford (Bergen County, NJ).
The food is great & they are very gluten-free friendly!
