Found: Good Ped Dr In Centralia Wa

Anyone looking for a good doctor in Lewis County, check out "Northwest Pediatrics". They have multiple locations - I prefer the one in Centralia. Top 3 doctors are Dr. Lo , Dr. Caserta , and Dana Smith (I think she's one of those doctor assistants, whatever they're called. but she's terrific!). It's great to be able to choose from 3 competant doctors!! There may be more there, but I've only seen those 3. Anyways, they are all familiar with celiac's disease. They all know how to test for it. And if you walk in and ask for the tests, they don't argue with you!!! In fact, "since we have to poke her for the celiac disease test anyways..." they're checking for other problems too! My daughter is failing to thrive, so they're doing a total bloodwork and all kinds of stuff on her - checking for anything that might cause a failure to thrive. They even have a website where you can get more information. Open Original Shared Link Wow! I had no idea that link was so long! I hope it works for you, and isn't based on a cookie I have on my computer! I was sorta surprised to find out they are a christian-based doctor's office!!! Sure, they have some veggietales painted on the wall - but otherwise, I wouldn't have really known without checking out the website. It's not anything they throw down your throat. So if you're christian, you should like them that much more. And if you're not christian (i'm almost anti-christian at times), rest assured that they don't preach at you! They are just nice doctors that genuinly love children!

So, I contacted Scott Adams, the author of that article and also the creator/admin of this website, and pointed out to him the need to clarify the information in the paragraph in question. He has now updated the paragraph and it is clear that the DGP-IGA does serve the purpose of circumventing the false negatives that IGA deficiencies can generate in the tTG-IGA antibody test.

Has anyone experimenced enlarged lymph nodes with celiac? Both in the neck and groin area. Imaging of both areas have said that lymph nodes are reactive in nature. However, they have been present for months and just wondering how long this may take to go down. Been gluten-free for about two months. Blood counts are normal.

Hmm interesting I just assumed that any “IGA” tests including the DPG iga would be negative in a person who is IGA deficient but maybe that is not the case for the DPG test.

If you were just diagnosed I can say that if you go 100% gluten-free should should see dramatic improvement of your symptoms over the next few months, but the hard part is to stay gluten-free. This article has some detailed information on how to be 100% gluten-free, so it may be helpful (be sure to also read the comments section.):
