Hi everyone, I've only registered on this site today, and I've already had lots of advice which I thank you all, but what does 'glutened' mean?

Welcome to the forum!
Basically, it means that someone that generally does not eat gluten, has ingested gluten, either accidental (cross-contamination with a gluten source) or on purpose.
For example, someone may eat at a restaurant, get sick from cross contamination, and say they were "glutened." Or, they may eat a product, and then later realize it wasn't gluten free - they were "glutened."
Basically, it means that someone that generally does not eat gluten, has ingested gluten, either accidental (cross-contamination with a gluten source) or on purpose.

Happygirl is correct.
As a linguist of sorts, I will offer that this is a good example of a noun being "verbed." For example, you can't "Xerox" a document, but you can copy it using a Xerox machine. You can't "Hoover" the rug, but you can clean it using a Hoover vacuum cleaner.

Well, yes, you may object to "verbed " nouns (or "nouned" verbs or "adjectived" verbs) but they are devilishly convenient and often more descriptive. To state that one has been glutened is totally different from stating that one has consumed gluten; the former implies a negativity, something that has been done to one (that one did not desire), while the latter is a neutral statement.
By the way, what does "mean" mean??
