David Marc Fischer, owner of the blog Gluten Free NYC, died on Aug. 6, of a rare, agressive form of Leukemia. He was 47 years old. I never met him, but enjoyed his Gluten Free NYC blog - which is still online and contains a wealth of very interesting information and features. He was a very busy Celiac Disease activist, and will be greatly missed.
