My husband and I will be traveling to San Antonio in September, and plan to take a short side-trip to Austin and potentially Hill Country as well. Can anyone recommend places to go for tasty gluten free food? I don't necessarily need there to be a dedicated menu, just places where the waiter / waitress won't look at me like I'm crazy when I tell him / her I'm allergic to wheat and I can have some confidence that what I'm eating won't make me sick! Thanks!

There's a dedicated gluten free place in Austin, called the Wildwood Art Cafe. All kinds of yummy goodness on their menu!

Iron Deficient Anemia / Blood Clotting Disorder / Severe Vit D Deficiency / Low Cortisol / Progesterone/Testosterone Deficient
Persisting Sx: bouts of extreme fatigue, dry itchy skin, dry gritty eyes, bouts of brain fog and terrible short term memory, hair loss, hypoglycemic tendencies, low body temps, low BP, cold hands and feet
UPDATE: Began BHRT 9/22/10 and it made a world of difference, for about 2 weeks. Hair loss stopped almost completely, energy levels way up and felt 19 again! Going back for a booster this week....
