I just moved back to Kansas City from Florida and since I have celiac disease, I'm trying to familiarize myself with restaurants that have gluten-free menus or options. From being on this board before, I already know about Grand Street Cafe, Waldo Pizza and the chains (Chili's, Chipotle, Bonefish Grill, etc.) However, I got some information recently that I was new to me and I didn't find it on here, so I thought I would share.

First, there's a coffee house at 74th & Wornall called One More Cup that carries baked goods from Olivia's Oven:

There's also another pizza option--Spin Pizza. Just like Waldo Pizza, their gluten-free crust is from Olivia's Oven.

Not sure if you knew, but Pizza Fusion is now in the area as well, and they make their own gluten-free crust.

I also found out that Tanner's in Waldo carries Redbridge Beer, and so does The Fox and Hound on Metcalf.

Then there's Pei Wei. This is an Asian bistro that's owned by P.F. Chang's. The food is the same as P.F. Chang's but all dishes are under $10. They have a gluten-free menu as well. (I highly recommend the spicy chicken.)

That's all for now. I hope I helped somebody.

Also, if you aren't aware, Lulu's noodle house downtown has a celiac menu! So yuuuumy!

And godfather's pizza delivers a gluten-free pizza in 2 locations in KC.

I saw that Kona Grill on the plaza has gluten free options, as well as Eden Alley, First Watch, and Uno Chicago Grill. I didn't know about Spin! That makes me excited! Thanks!

810 Sports Zone in Overland Park/Plaze both are aware of Gluten and have several options.
Fortune Woks (Chinese) has a gluten free menu, I've heard rave reviews.
Jose Peppers (mexican) is very accomodating.
Tannah's (Overland Park)has gluten free options and the chef is aware of gluten issues.

I'm slow in replying, but I have to say that I think SPIN pizza is amazing. If you join their promotional program you can buy two pizzas and get one free every Monday. We ordered two gluten free pizzas and one regular with drinks and it was only about $30. I love Waldo, but it can get pricey.

I took the extra pizza home with the intention of freezing it but it was so good I ate it up. I hope all those in the Kansas City area have a chance to have this delicious pizza!!
