For the past several months I have been having the same dream. I eat loads of gluten filled food then suddenly realize I am eating food that is going to make me sick. I then get a feeling of dread and I wake up. Does anyone else have dreams like that? I am not tempted at all by off limits food so I'm not sure why I keep having this dream.
Oh my goodness I feel your pain! I have these gluten filled nightmares as well! Just the other night I dreamnt I ate a bunch of oatmeal cookies...and I've had a few about my family contaminating my food and me not knowing and stuff like that. No fun.

No celiac gene but two DQ1 genes.
Scope tests both normal, biopsies for celiac and Crohn's normal (on gluten-free diet).

Blood and biopsy negative 6/2009, Diagnosed with IBS, "mildy active colitis" (My Dr. didn't tell me this, I saw it on the patho report)
Enterolab results negative for gluten, soy, casein, yeast and egg (maybe I have low IgA)
Gluten free diet starting post-endoscopoy 6/2009
I have found that I not only react to gluten but to soy as well. I'm still working on the dairy elimination and trial.

So the next morning when I woke up I did eat one saltine cracker. It's the last one I've had in over 8 years that contained gluten. Funny that I dreamed that because I've never had a seizure and didn't like saltine crackers.
1970s-told had colitis or nervous stomach-was given phenobarbital, felt great but still had symptoms
Me, dd and ds diagnosed with Lactose Intolerance
2001-had stroke because of medications I was given
June 2003-saw Chiropractor who specialized in nutrition: Celiac Disease not Lactose Intolerance, went gluten free with once in awhile cheating, off soy and dairy for about 6 months
June 2003-found excellent doctor for fibromyalgia (who has found out she has Celiac Disease)
May 2006-went gluten free with NO cheating-excellent! Made all the difference in the world
