As the mom of a newly diagnosed child, I am experiencing great anxiety about differing opinions on things such as Gum Arabic. On this site, it's listed under Safe Ingredients, however, on csaceliacs.org in the "Teacher's Letter" it is listed as unsafe. Since my son will probably be using stickers at school, this is something I would like to know. If it is unsafe, just asking him to wash his hands after touching these kinds of things is not realistic because of his cognitive development so I'd rather avoid Gum Arabic if it is indeed unsafe.

Any advice or insight will be appreciated. Thanks!
