I noticed lots of you have your pet on there, and I want to add mine. I went in my controls and then went under the avatar (whatever that is??) and is that how I do it? then it keeps saying mind is too big and it won't put anything on there. I dont know what to do, or how to make it smaller either. it says it will auto adjust it but it won't.

Yes, it is the avatar that you see under the members name in their posts.

The system will automatically re-size your image, up to a point. The re-sizing is in pixels. There is a maximum file size which you can not exceed--otherwise it can't be uploaded to be re-sized. You can shrink the image using various tools and methods.
