Sorry for the double post, I realized I had posted this in the wrong place the first time.

My question is... is the Old El Paso salsa gluten free in Canada? Anyone know? I've tried searching online with no luck. I have the Thick N' Chunky Medium flavour. The ingredients list onion and garlic powders so there could be hidden gluten there. Is this brand known for listing allergens reliably? Anyone in Canada use this product?

Thanks :)
Jillian

OEP will clearly list gluten sources by naming the grain. If it is not listed, it is not there.

Neither onions nor garlic are a source of gluten, whether dehydrated (powdered) or whole.

Thank you!

Yes, I realize that onions and garlic are safe, however I was told to look out for the powders in ingredients lists because some of the powder mixes aren't pure and can have gluten in the additives.

I shall enjoy my salsa,
Jillian
