Hi. I'm very new here (have posted once). Am wondering if there's a place on this site with "how to" information about how to use the forum -- the technical part. Like when and how one might use those things under "quick access" to my left: Post Link, CODEBOX, SPOILER, topic link). And what's the "Poll Options" thing about? Hoping there's a how to page somewhere I've missed....
Also, I realized after my first post that I wished I'd chosen a different username....is it too late to change it? (I realize I could probably unjoin and rejoin with the different name, but I've started receiving responses to my first post -- very helpful! -- so wouldn't want to lose that.)
Thank you!

Yes, I agree that it would be nice to find out how to better use this forum. I have been searching but have not had much success. I want to figure out how to click on a topic and have all responses open up under it. I don't see a FAQ section. Maybe I missed it. Thanks for this forum.

To the right of the green box containing the topic heading you will see a box marked "Options". Click on this and one of the options that appears is Display Modes. Click on "linear" and you will find all the responses.
And don't feel bad, I've been here for a while and I keep learning new features of the forum. I agree that a "How to" section would be helpful, although the moderators are only too happy to explain specific features. I hope one or more of them will post here after Thanksgiving.
