Due to mineral or vitamin deficiencies, paleness could be a symptom of anemia.

I know that I still look pale, but I used to look like Casper.

A friend of mine called me the whitest white girl in Florida.

And I was at the beach every other week.

My dd gave me a compliment the other day. She said she wanted to be as healthy as I look because she wanted her lips to look like they already had lipstick on them.

Before going gluten-free I was so pale people would think I was ready to faint. My lips looked just like my skin, no color at all. I am fair skinned so I can really tell how much better I look now. I also have some color in my cheeks.

This happened since I went completely gluten free.
1960s-had symptoms-could have been before but don't remember
1970s-told had colitis or nervous stomach-was given phenobarbital, felt great but still had symptoms
Me, dd and ds diagnosed with Lactose Intolerance
2000-osteopenia
2001-had stroke because of medications I was given
June 2003-saw Chiropractor who specialized in nutrition: Celiac Disease not Lactose Intolerance, went gluten free with once in awhile cheating, off soy and dairy for about 6 months
June 2003-found excellent doctor for fibromyalgia (who has found out she has Celiac Disease)
May 2006-went gluten free with NO cheating-excellent! Made all the difference in the world
