Hi Everyone!

Does anyone else love Chex? I live in Vancouver and got four boxes of Chex from Seattle this weekend! It tastes great, it was very inexpensive, and it says Gluten free on the box! So far I don't have a tummy ache at all! Actually, I think this may be one of the only foods that does not give me a tummy ache.

If anyone doesn't know about Chex I would recommend trying it, it's such a treat! :D

It's very exciting because normally I only post to complain but today I'm in a great mood!

nicole356 - I love them too! I get the honey nut, and so far, no issues. It's my favorite thing every morning, and it holds me for several hours, which I can't say about ANY other cereal. Very tasty! Glad you found something that makes you feel good! I know the feeling.

My wife went to the US to visit a friend a few months ago and brought back a supply of Corn Chex and Rice Chex, which we have been eating about once a week. We don't eat a lot of cereal, and for the last few months Chex has been the only one we are eating.

I'm with you.........I eat Rice Chex almost every morning and I have for over six months now, I just do not tire of it. It is almost the only way to get milk in me, too unless I use it for cooking as I do not drink milk. I don't like the Corn Chex and have not tried any of the flaovred ones.

I've eaten all the gluten-free varieties many times with no problems. Mostly though, I have the corn chex every morning, 7 days a week. I like them with fresh blueberries. That way I don't have to add any additional sugar, agave nectar, etc., and I figure it's more healthy.

Another plus. My non-celiac wife loves honey nut chex. I use to buy the big bag of honey nut chex look-a-like product (I forget the name). Now I just get the real thing, it cost a little more, but dirt cheap compared to most gluten-free cerials. It's nice to be able to eliminate one more gluten product.

Thank you General Mills and Betty Crocker for offering us premium quality mainstream goodies available at regular stores at affordable prices. Gluten-free times are a-gettin better.

Another great thing about Chex Rice and Corn.....you can grind them up and they make great coating for baked/fried chicken and in meatloaf, meatballs, etc. Also, I ground them up one time and added sweetner and they made a nice "crust" for cheesecake !

I guess i'm the odd one out. They mess with my tummy. But I guess I am super sensitive because I react to all the gluten free processed foods. Dadgum it. :angry::( But hey, looking on the bright side, i've lost 30 lbs. Yipee! :rolleyes:

      I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.
