What alarms me is the veggie broth that is in the ingreidence.
I am pretty sure it was the starkist brand.
Even when the container says it's in water, the broth is still listed!!
I love tuna............ :(

Dear 12th one,
I got this off of the starkist.com website. Yummmm, tuna.
You will find yourself doing lots of research online as well as making phone calls.
If you go to a site and can find nothing about the gluten status of a product, go to their "contact" information. They often will have FAQs (frequently asked questions) where you, with any luck, can get your answer.

Q. Does StarKist® Tuna contain any gluten or grain ingredients?

There is no gluten in StarKist® Tuna with the exception of one variety of Tuna Creations - Herb & Garlic, which contains ingredients from wheat and barley. Additionally the crackers in StarKist Lunch to-Go® would contain gluten. Please note that due to product changes or new product introductions, we always recommend you check the ingredient statement for the most current ingredient information.

The broths in tuna are generally vegetable broths. I've never found a plain canned or packaged tuna with gluten.
