Nightshade vegetables include tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant and peppers. Many Celiacs, myself included, have secondary intolerances to nightshades. I, happily, can have them again after 6 months on the diet. It's very common for us to have temporary issues with them.
Gluten free is not so bad! If you are new, hang it there, it gets easier!
