Have you talked to your doctor about what you are going through?

I've experienced close to the same - but don't fret - once your system starts getting regulated, you can go to the bathroom as much as 4 or 5 times a day. What has been in there before your 4 days has putrified and the gas will clear eventually - but in my case, I am more able to control 'functions' than before.

You're taking in more fiber so that will give gas and yes - it's not always pleasant....and I thought men had the worst gas issues! lol

It will calm down....but may take a few months for your body to adjust while healing.

If you're gluten-free now - you'll be going thru the withdrawls almost immediately. Don't drive if you can help it - you'll feel like you're in a stupor of stupid.....meaning your mind is not your own during withdrawls.

I take B-complex and 1000 iu of Vit. D along with a gluten-free multi vitamin.

One a Day and Natures Bounty are safe.

Hang in there - you're going thru what is considered normal to us, but abnormal to you....it's time to be abnormal now.....but you can do it!

It does get easier.

Hugs and welcome!

Tena

Hi Scott, yes I have had symptoms for years and this is the second GI I have seen and he could not believe I have never been tested. He called later today and I am scheduled for an endoscopy. Is there a way to tell how severe my potential celiac is from the results above? What are the chances I will have the biopsy and come back negative and we have to keep searching for a cause?

I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

"her stool study showed she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that." The wording of this part of the sentence does not make any sense at all. I don't mean to insult you, but is English your first language? This part of the sentence sounds like it was generated by translation software.

What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?
    • mishyj
Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.
