Kraft Mozerrella String Cheese Gluten Free?

Hi there,

Kraft's Natural Mozerrella String Cheese contains "vinegar". I kknow they are good about labeling, but this concerns me. Has anyone come up against this? I can't seem to find any direct information about this one online.

Kraft will not hide gluten. If a gluten-derived ingredient is present, the grain in question will be listed by name in the ingredients list.

Yep, Kraft will disclose any gluten. The string cheese is safe--I eat either those or the twisty ones daily. :)

In addition if the label only says 'vinegar' it is apple cider vinegar. A few of us can't tolerate distilled gluten grains, most can but not all. I don't so I use great care when I see the word distilled.

celiac 49 years - Misdiagnosed for 45
Blood tested and repeatedly negative
Diagnosed by Allergist with elimination diet and diagnosis confirmed by GI in 2002
