I recently bought Bette Hagman's book "The Gluten Free Gourmet Bakes Bread". I have tried a few recipes and they have all turned out pretty well.

Unfortunately, two thirds of the recipes in her book use something called Garfava flour which is completely unavailable in Australia. She suggests substituting Romano flour but I can't find that either. She also says that you can't grind your own gaarfava flour because it won't work. This makes me a bit frustrated with the book.

Does anyone have any ideas what i can use as a substitute for Garfava flour? Or an idea of how I can make her flour mixes without Garfava flour?
