WHile talking to my sister in law yesterday i told her that i couldnt drink any beer at the upcoming 4th of July celebration that they are having, she told me just drink some beer through a straw that wont affect you mouth any or your digestive system??? I thought this was funny and just had to repeat it, my realtives dont understand Celiac at all!!!!!!!!!!

Didn't you hear that straws are magic and they are able to remove gluten? :lol:

That's really strange ... I wonder if she shook her own head after when they realized how silly it sounded. Sometimes things pop out of ones mouth, obviously without thinking it through. I hope she figured it out :o :D

I had to laugh at that...there-in lies our problem. Well, I don't like straws...I suppose I'll never be gluten-free (Heee!) :P Thanks for sharing.
