I see my udi's question was skipped over

Not skipping just thinking. We have had them. They are fine. Not fabulous. If you put enough toppings on them, they will be good. If you want less toppings and a more bready crust, you might not like them. We liked the Kinnickick crusts better. It's all a personal preference.

SIL is garnet too and she feels ripped off!

My kids are two diamonds and one citrine -- makes an awesome mothers ring...I've got two clear cz eternity bands with a citrine cz band sandwiched in there -- hubs is under instruction to get me a real set - one of these days -- for now this set sparkles at me nicely.

My mother has a garnet ring and it is quite beautiful. Maybe it's the setting?

Her Mother's ring is the reverse---two citrines (AKA topaz)  and a diamond. I do not like my birthstone at all . I'm not the diamond. LOL

although, I am her favorite, I am sure.

I see my udi's question was skipped over

I can honestly say I was not impressed by them,  hon.

K!! I am sure I would like your tortilla soup.

Well, between me and the kids I have a choice of peridot, opal and turquoise or zircon.

I have them all separately, but not together. Not sure that would work at all. Maybe I can find alternatives on other websites :)

I have lost enough weight that my wedding and engagement rings are trying to fall off, so I am wearing a smaller one to hold them on. Maybe I need new jewels when I reach my target.

I am going to try not to buy more black clothes as I need smaller ones. I am broadly autumn shades by choice.

I had to have my wedding ring and engagement rings re-sized when I dropped 90 lbs. ...but new jewels are always in order!

No more black, navy, or dark brown. ok? ...you're a NEW you! ( and yes, these were my colors for years).

I have on RED right now :)

i buy the udi's crust - they are 'ok' in a pinch (and that reminds me, irish, didn't you say you had a good pizza crust recipe?  i'm on a dough roll - get it?  dough?  roll...?  *snort* haha i crack myself up) but i tend to use them for other things - pita bread for gyros, sometimes i cut them into wedges and put oil & spices on them for bruschetta, you know, stuff like that.  i did make an awesome smoked salmon pizza on them one time  :)  i think i may have cut them into pieces and put butter and cinnamon sugar on them, too ?  i keep 'em around, but not so much for pizza.

I was a black, navy, brown with light accent for the past 15 years as i bloated up like a balloon...now i'm wearing ALL bright colors and loving it...my professional clothes go to Autumn, but my exercise wear (daily norm) is black or grey leggings with bright bold colors on top -- no more boring for me - no way, no how!

Tortilla Soup sounds yummy...just bought pork roast for extra large batch of Carnitas on Cinco de Mayo -- I love May -- didn't for a few years but 'tis fun this year....Celiac Awareness, National Bike Challenge, Cinco de Mayo, Tour of California (we are camping to watch the top riders in the world pedal past my camp spot -- not sure I can take it), Mother's Day and me Birthday -- yep -- May is going to be great!!!!!

Geez, so many topics to cover.... My favorite color is red, although it irks me to

no end that the color I look best in is pink. I love yellow and green but can't wear

them as my skin is remarkably yellow and it makes me look like I'm dying a slow

death.  My birthstone is diamonds, so that's nice. :D

My favorite frozen pizza crust is most definitely the Against the Grain one. You

gotta have a pizza stone to put it on or it gets all soggy though. I have had the

Kinnikinnick ones and they are pretty good. I'm going to try taking Addy's cheese

bread that I turn into crepes and put them on the pizza stone and see if they make

pizza crust- update to follow soon I hope! If it works I'd imagine they would freeze

quite nicely for homemade frozen pizza crusts.

what's mine is yours, dear girl. ;)  I did print off the "my Mom and I are G F" banner and sent it to my Mom. She'll get a kick out of it and stick it on her fridge. Thanks for the link to that site.

Tonight is going to be tricky. No pizza. yes, that's right.... Friday night pizza night has been set aside while

some of us try to ditch the excess carbs in favor of "svelte".....I'll have to do some thinking.....

I would make a "white" lasagne with bechamel sauce and spinach. Just leave out the toms.

or as much as I loathe Martha Stewart   here's another

of course, sub in gluten-free noodles and flour and you're good to go!

I've made them with lots of veggies and no tom sauce and honestly, I like it better than "conventional Lasagne"

Hope you like it!!

That is a beautiful lasagna! I don't do the spinach thing, but I could make it with asparagus. I don't know that I'll even every try spinach again, it frankly scares the crap out of me as it is what set me off in the first place last summer. Okay. Maybe no one should eat 4 pounds of spinach in a week. But it is so good and I couldn't help myself.

Tonight I am just going to finish off that little tiny turkey roast from last night with some veggies. I was in bed by midnight and up at 8:30 but just had no spunk. I putzed around and did some chores and went back to bed until 2.

Sub in swiss chard. Eat the chard sauteed in garlic and EVOO...you won't care if you ever eat spinach again.

I picked up some broccoli at the store, i'm thinking of subbing that into it.

I can't do anything dark green and leafy. Complicates things for me quite a bit. No swiss chard, spinach, kale, or a dozen other delicious things. <_< I suppose I could try to find out if swiss chard will play nice with me, although I don't hold out much hope for leafy green things.

Well, tonight I have 8(!) little girls in my house. smh. I must be crazy, but littlest wanted a sleepover. My husband is hiding somewhere -- haven't seen him in hours, ha. I think he's locked himself in the bedroom reading. So . . . tonight GLUTEN entered the house. I bought mini cupcakes and real pizza for the sleepover crew, while celiac daughter & I ate gluten-free pizza and gluten-free cupcakes. We usually make the crust using pamelas mix, but not really following the directions (they don't work right!), but tonight I talked the Domino's manager into selling me a package of his gluten-free crusts without letting the workers handle them in any way. ha. They have a policy of not allowing anything to sell that is not cooked, but after I explained my concerns about cross contamination, he said he could make an exception for that. Got them pretty cheap, too! Good to know we can use those on days when I don't have time to make the crust, sauce, and toppings. ha.

Best part of the day so far -- my husband ate the "real" pizza and said that he definitely prefers the gluten-free ones we make ourselves!!! Whoa! Between that and the discovery of Perdue gluten-free chicken tenders today, I'm on cloud 9. Also, the closest walmart just started carrying Udi's products -- cookies, bagels, sandwich bread, I bought one of each!

Tonight is burgers and fries. I was going to do chicken nuggets but I just can't make up my mind about what kind of sauce I want! I'm far too lazy to make my own nuggets and haven't had any in over a year. Now I feel like Christmas morning. I think I'm leaning towards a spicy mustard berry sauce. Even if that will earn me a weird look from my husband.

hey!  that's a great idea!  how did it turn out?  how was the crust - what would you compare it to?  thin crust? squishy? fluffy?

my daughter's friend used to be the manager of our local domino's - i bet she could get them to sell to me...  :)

Hi Scott, yes I have had symptoms for years and this is the second GI I have seen and he could not believe I have never been tested. He called later today and I am scheduled for an endoscopy. Is there a way to tell how severe my potential celiac is from the results above? What are the chances I will have the biopsy and come back negative and we have to keep searching for a cause?
    • Aussienae
I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.
    • trents
"her stool study showed she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that." The wording of this part of the sentence does not make any sense at all. I don't mean to insult you, but is English your first language? This part of the sentence sounds like it was generated by translation software.
    • trents
What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?
    • mishyj
Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.
