Those sherried mushrooms are just ridiculously good aren't they?

(I just pictured Shroomie with a glass of sherry in her hand...but I digress. Must be ba-con head)

So happy to see you "home" and sharing your drool -worthy menu once more..

Those darned mushrooms are addictive they are so good. Maybe I should sautee some bacon first, candy it and sprinkle on top. Mmmmm....

Thanks for the welcome "home"! Am happy to be cooking lots again, though I did that while on vacation, too. A day without cooking is incomplete.

It's kind of a joke I saw once: a person asked why eleven isn't called onety-one... Also "!!11!1!" usually means excitement so there you have internet inside jokes 101.

a day without cooking...is a long, uneventful, non-creative, and hungry day, IMHO

Still constantly bloated and now, turns out I get constipated as well. Thinking of going grain free...

So meat with potatoes and carrots plus guava juice it is.

I had fried potatoes with rosemary and paprika and smoked sausage and green beans. Now I am having peanut butter cookies with carob chips.

Too tired to cook, barely functioning since coming off my steroids. Just threw a roast in the oven with some taters and baby carrots. I figure for 10 minutes worth of effort I'll have dinner, lunch and dinner again if I can find the effort to use the microwave and wash some dishes. Everything is accompanied with some ginger ale and bitters to be able to keep it where it belongs.

I picked up some juice when I picked up my ginger ale today. I actually opened my passion fruit juice before my guava juice though. Good stuff!

Chicken breast and sautéed onions, along with peppermint tea.

I consider this a very good day because I didn't end it bloated. But I ate so little...

Oh oh, and I forgot to add: a chocolate smoothie. Only whole cocoa powder, a banana, ice cubes and brown sugar.

I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

"her stool study showed she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that." The wording of this part of the sentence does not make any sense at all. I don't mean to insult you, but is English your first language? This part of the sentence sounds like it was generated by translation software.
    • trents
What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?
    • mishyj
Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.

My daughter has celiac disease and has had for a long time. She fell loses strictly gluten-free diet and recently got rid of all cutting boards in any gluten in her house at all. She just had a stool test and it came back showing of gigantic response to gluten in her diet. What could be going on since she doesn't eat any gluten and is very careful about any kind of hidden glue? Help!
