. I'm in mourning over my Tuesday night show series finale a week ago. Maybe when I finally go rummage through my closet and get out of the jammies I should wear black today.
By chance was it Private Practice? I was not happy that they ended it with so many more stories to tell.

Yes, and I completely agree!!! My husband has been picking on me for years about how it is hardly more than television appropriate pornography. I can't get him to see past nekkidness to the actually moving and very socially relevant stories. Maybe I'll put the DVD box set on my Santa wishlist.
I'm hoping to do a soup. It snowed like two inches and it got me cold and wanting it.
We're getting snow too. Still coming down and I'm heading out of the house in half an hour. BRRRR!!!! Half a foot on Sunday/Monday and a few more inches today.

My husband never really sat down to watch Private Practice with me, but he says the same thing about Grey's. Actually there aren't a whole lot of shows we can even watch together. I love my Grey's and Supernatural, loved Private Practice and Emily Owens (only 2 episodes of that left though) and I really love Star Trek.
On topic, I think dinner tonight is ginger beef and broccoli.
Well, I am mourning the loss of the very cool show "Fringe" last Friday, but at least the powers that be had the decency to reward the loyal fans of 5 years with a satisfactory ending. Sorry, guys.
It is nasty cold and gray here and sneeting (that's sleet and snow) and just plain ick...gawd, where's the freakin SUN?????
Time for something different to break the monotony.
Veal piccata
sauteed chard and baby carrots
Risotto milanese for the hubs

We recently had freezing rain. It is such a rare occurrence here in Utah and reminded me of all of the sleet and sneet from back home. I do not miss it. By all means, keep your sneet. Sounds like something straight out of Dr. Seuss book! Although I imagine he would have made it pink, we got the short end of the stick here in the real world.
Oh, and the few inches of snow today? There was half a foot on my Jeep again and it is still comin!!!

Australia tossed it our way because it was burning their little island up. We were fool enough to snag it as it went by, and now it is burning our little island up (literally, for both countries, although Queensland is under water and snorkelling ) We are supposed to hit 40 degrees Celsius today. Think I might stay indoors

Pink sneet indeed!--that would be grand! Thing 1 and 2 could lend a hand. To wash it all away from sight.
But feets of snow upon the jeep requires more--it is too deep! We need canana boyz with might.
Shovel here and shovel there... behold! the driveway now is clear! and Addy chuckled with delight.
I must be going mad you see to write such frivolousity.... methinks it's time to say goodnight!

Pasta with butter and garlic sauce and baked chicken thighs, some cut up fresh veg on the side.
We have freezing rain on the way here, must be coming from Irish.
No no no, sweets....I sent it East...towards NE and out to sea, one hopes. Supposed to be 50 here tomorrow. I'll believe that when I see it..

Wish I could pack some up and send it east - we are unusually cold for here - but lots of sun too - even had a daytime fire today - I love this weather
Have a good friend down in Brisbane that is stuck in her home with her two toddlers as her sitter can't make it thru the floodwaters. She has two grants to write this week - no fun.
