Coincidentally I've been sick since I started taking it and seem to get more bloated and feel more ill right after I take it. Isn't it supposed to help you digest??? anyway, after doing some research I found that it is made from a fungus and that some may be sensitive or allergic to it. given all my food allergies I'm sure that is what is making me sick. Hopefully by stopping it I will feel better in a few days!
this is soooooooooooo upsetting and crazy. another day in the house feeling awful. I took 2 last night with dinner and was up all night!

Shoot, does anyone have any suggestions on how to get rid of the bloating without beano? Did the beano work at first?
gluten-free since January 26th, 2005
Feeling up and down, but better!
Mommy of a gluten-free 8 yr old, a 6 yr old who (much to her dismay) will be gluten-free soon and a 2 yr old who is so far symptom-free. Contemplating putting the whole family on the gluten-free diet since crumbs have become my nemisis!

You have described exactly how I feel when I eat gluten, I just can't do anything, everything is upsetting, and I too was happy, laughing and singing. I hope to get back to that point again to. I have ingested gluten several times this past month, so will take awhile to get back to myself. The sooner the better! My husband really suffers when I go through this stuff.

I was talking to my husband over the lunch hour and told him about your note about not being yourself. I told my husband "her board name is DebbieNibbles and he says, well, then yours should be 'BernadetteChews.'"

Ive been accidentally glutened from eating a box of Corn Pops cereal----had the worst suffering and pain since my first episode upon diagnosis 6 yrs ago----would have gone to the ER but figured, if its Celiac related what can the doctors do for me? Theres no remedy or cure....it just has to "take its course", right?
What helped me through this bad 48 hours (besides my caring boyfriend) were the following:
1. hot lemon water
2. advil
3. white rice
4. banana
5. gluten-free roll with jelly
I would also like to add that I always take this anti-gas pill that works wonders for me......I take it before or after I eat most meals like barbeques, sushi, dairy, etc.
This pill makes me feel soooooo much better! However, I never confirmed with the company if they are completely gluten-free. Im assuming---and I know that I shouldnt assume anything. The name is Phayzme. Does anyone know for sure if this is gluten-free? If it is, its a lifesaver....try it!!!!!
