Just thought I'd bring to everyone's attention (if it hasn't been already) the New Year, New You Challenge being held at http://www.everydayh...Living_20110130

The challenge is to submit gluten free recipe for the chance to win an ipod. If not for the contest, then go and have a look at the recipes already posted, some are pretty tasty sounding! It is shamefully only open to people in the USA, so I cannot enter because I'm Canadian but for the recipes and the fact that gluten free trending is making this diet that little bit easier... :)

Self diagnosed as gluten free as all tests were negative and the doctor was completely useless.

Gluten Free since June 2010
Suspecting soy and milk as of June 2011

Proofreader, copy editor, herb gardener and an evolving gluten-free cook.

Had a reaction to wheat, oats, rye, and barley in a lab test done by a homeopathic doctor in 1997. Have been mostly gluten-free since then. Also highly allergic to MSG.

Here's a quote I ran across when researching self-advocacy for children with special needs that I like: "Our subconscious picks up on each positive action we take on our own behalf, lifting the spirit and deepening our self-respect." Kat James
