My daughter has tested positive for IgG antigliadin antibodies via blood and IgA antigliadin antibodies via stool. I haven't had her tested for the celiac genes.

Do only people with the celiac gene make antigliadin antibodies or can someone without the gene make them?

I ask because I'm trying to decide whether to have the test run. If only people with the gene make those antibodies, I can save my money.

Thanks!
