I've been getting terrible stomaches lately and wondering if anyone knows if these products from Costco are gluten free...
Kirkland Signature Extra Lean Ham lunch meat
Kirkland chunk canned chicken breast
I wrote costco and never heard back.

Also in terms of spices
Old Bay? does anyone know if its Gluten free for sure.
Are there any spices that you stay away from or have caused stomach issues even if they should be gluten-free?

I've wondered if its soy or lactose but have cut out both for a few weeks seperate of each other and nothing changed so I'm now looking into all the foods I'm eating wondering if I'm getting contamination somewhere.

Thanks so much for any guidance anyone can provide!

Old Bay is gluten-free. Here's the link to the McCormick (company that owns Old Bay) FAQ question:
http://mccormick.cus...php?p_faqid=630

Also keep in mind that this only applies to the original Old Bay, not the variations (I contacted them about this last Fall to clarify).

I can vouch for the Kirkland canned chicken breast. I am pretty sensitive and have not been glutened by it. I've eaten many cans.

October 2012- I learned that I am 1/2 Irish with a strong family history of Gluten Intolerance/Celiacs. I will never know If I am Celiac because I will never eat gluten again in order to test postive, it's poison and I do not ever want to feel the way I felt before implementing the gluten free diet EVER again!!!

AmyNColorado.... my fellow Colorado carnivorous friend:

I literally buy both of those on my near-weekly Costco shopping trips. Rest assured, they are 100% gluten free.

I also wanted to let you know that one of the senior buyers in our Costco region is gluten intolerant. We have an ally in our court!

In fact, she was personally responsible for bringing Rudi's into our whole region -- as she saw this trend/demand coming a long time ago.

I still can't find the Rudi's at the Aurora Costco...is it in the frozen section?

Thank god for Vitamin Cottage. Reasonably priced and caring local chain. Check it out!

The Arvada Costco had it in the frozen section this past Saturday (2 pack). From my understanding (from the actual buyer at Costco) is that Rudi's is in ALL buildings in this particular region (CO, NM, AZ, UT, NV,& San Diego region).

I can get you the item number when I get home tonight and you can bring it up to the manager.
