Hello all!

I'm new to this message board (although not new to this site). I'm 24/f living in San Francisco. I started having symptoms of Celiac when I was a freshman in college. Doctors were clueless and no help at all. <_< After months of not knowing what was wrong with me, I followed an elimination diet and found out that I couldn't tolerate wheat. Later after cutting the wheat out, I still got sick. I read about Celiac disease and gluten. I cut out all products that could possibly have gluten and felt BETTER! :D I've been gluten free since--although there are times when it's possible to slip up unknowingly (or even knowingly...horrible)

Anyway, just wanted to say hi! :)

Welcome! I lived in San Francisco for three years (in the outer Richmond aka the fog bank). I miss it! I was just there in June and actually had really good luck with eating out. Didn't get glutened at all! The only place I found pretty tough was Safeway.

      Constant low back, abdominal and pelvic pain!

      I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

      Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.

      My daughter has celiac disease and has had for a long time. She fell loses strictly gluten-free diet and recently got rid of all cutting boards in any gluten in her house at all. She just had a stool test and it came back showing of gigantic response to gluten in her diet. What could be going on since she doesn't eat any gluten and is very careful about any...
