Well, here I am having yet another night's sleep ruined by horrible stomach pain, bloating and all that loveliness.

This is my second day in a row of reaction to what I can only assume is corn slipping into my diet somewhere. The only thing I did both days was eat Namaste products. Has anyone else reacted to this product with a corn allergy or sensitivity? I am going out of my mind trying to figure out what it is so I can stop eating it.

At this point, I'm getting corn reactions about 2 times a week. It entails several hours of EXTREME abdominal pain and bloating, followed by cold symptoms, C, and feeling yucky for 2 days or so. I gotta say, I'm getting very frustrated.

Which Namaste products are you getting the reactions from? My 18 year old daughter, who has been allergic to corn since birth, hasn't reacted to any of the Namaste products we are using. I also react to corn, in addition to others, but not as strongly as she does, and I haven't noticed anything either. Maybe we're just not using the same products?

Yesterday was the pizza crust mix, and today the cheesy pasta....which I know makes no sense because it doesn't have xanthan gum which would seem to be the only thing that could possibly be CC'd.

I did some googling and it does seem that some people have reacted. >shrug< It is the only thing I've eaten that I didn't make myself 100% from scratch.

This corn thing is really kicking my butt. Everytime I think I have it under control I'm sick again.

I am corn sensitive, but the more highly refined the corn the less I react, so I guess I am lucky. A corn chip or piece of popcorn will kill me, but some cornstarch or xanthan gum is okay. :) I use Namaste because it has no potato starch or soy.

How funny, I'm the exact opposite. The more refined it is the sicker I am. I was cooking and grabbed powdered sugar before I realized it had cornstarch in it. Just stirring it into something (I threw it away 30 seconds later) and I had a small reaction. Caramel color will send me over the edge.

I was using the random Namaste product because they say they're corn, gluten, dairy and soy free. >shrug< Unless maybe I'm reacting to something else like the brown rice flour, which as I think of it could be a distinct possibility.
