Does anyone know what it would take to promote a run/walk, or bike ride?
I live in Denver, Co. and would love to get something started.

You could email Danna Korn. She promotes and runs the R.O.C.K. (raising our celiac kids) walks. We've done them four years in a row now and I think she's really worked out the kinks. Our last one in May was great. Go to the ROCK web site and email her from there. Good luck!

I realize this is a really old post. But I would love to help out and run the race. Please let me know if you are still interested in making this happen.

Me too. I just started the Couch 2 5k program.
I realize too that this is based on an old post, but I love to run! Are there groups that run across the US in support of Celiac disease? If so count me in!

Did anything ever come of this? I haven't heard of any kind of event that brings awareness to and supports celiac/gluten intolerance on a national level.
It would be neat as a community if we could get something like this going, like a 5k run/walk one day a year.
