Seeking Doc In La/orange County, Ca Area

I'm looking for a recommendation for a doctor in the LA or Orange County (So. Cal.) area for Celiac testing. The closer to Placentia, the better. Please post soon if you have a good recommendation since I will need an appointment in the next couple of weeks if possible. I am visiting from back East and would like to take my mom to get tested. I have tested positive for Celiac and would like her to find out if she also has Celiac disease. Many thanks!

If you go to this sites home page and scroll down there is a link to recommended doctors made by other celiacs. You can search and see if there is any in your area. I wish I could give you a personal recommendation but I am over in Maryland so I don't think my recommendation would do any good from over here :lol:

      Trying to read my lab results

      Hi Scott, yes I have had symptoms for years and this is the second GI I have seen and he could not believe I have never been tested. He called later today and I am scheduled for an endoscopy. Is there a way to tell how severe my potential celiac is from the results above? What are the chances I will have the biopsy and come back negative and we have to keep...

      Constant low back, abdominal and pelvic pain!

      I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

      What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?

      Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.
