Hi! I am 20 years old and was diagnosed with celiac 3 months ago and have been eating gluten free ever since. Before I started eating gluten-free my periods have always been fairly regular, I did go for a few months when I was 18 without getting it at all. But I had been regular for about a year leading up to my diagnosis. Since I started eating gluten-free my periods have been very strange. I would get cramps and bloating around the time I was due to get it, but then I would be a week or so late. I am not on birth control or any other medication.
I am assuming this is just due to my hormones being screwed up from such a drastic change in my diet, but any insight would be greatly appreciated : )

Your body is probably going through 200 changes right now, so yes it is probably an adjustment phase.
Hang in there, I'm sure things will continue to evolve.
If you start to have issues that worry you, consult your doc.
