Tums (antacid) has talc in it. If that a gluten binder.

What antacids do fellow celiacs use safely.

TUMS will not gaurentee that they are gluten-free so don't use them :angry: !!!!! Zantac is safe to use.

I'm not sure I'd use Maalox either. I am new to gluten-free, took some, and think I became sick from it.

Maalox is NOT gluten free. It is off limits to us.....

Rolaids:

Rolaids (Pfizer) (vp=9-16-04)

Rolaids Soft chews in vanilla and wild cherry are NOT gluten-free. All other Rolaids products are gluten-free, including the Zantac 75,

however they do NOT guarantee that there is not cross contamination with their products

That is as per the delphi list.

I use Rolaids without any problems. I think the "do not guarantee" is just one of those "covering their butts" disclaimer......

I used pepcid complete the other night & it was okay I think-can anyone else confirm this? Thanks! <_<

FYI - Just got some Multi-Symptom Rolaids - helps with gas too! SO GREAT!!! I'm going to use these from now on.

      Constant low back, abdominal and pelvic pain!

      I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

      Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.

      My daughter has celiac disease and has had for a long time. She fell loses strictly gluten-free diet and recently got rid of all cutting boards in any gluten in her house at all. She just had a stool test and it came back showing of gigantic response to gluten in her diet. What could be going on since she doesn't eat any gluten and is very careful about any...
