I emailed Dove recently about their gluten free status and just thought I'd share the response:

The ingredient statement on each wrapper is the best source for this information. The Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network advises consumers to rely on ingredient labels, not lists that can become outdated when products change.

I have been eating them. I just like the dark chocolate or the dark with nuts.

I love it!!!
I eat the Dove Milk and Dark Chocolate with no problems...almost every day I might add.
BUT
I got a bag of Dove Dark Chocolate Covered Almonds and after I had eaten half the bag...read the label...and sure enough it says made in a facility that processes wheat. I didn't worry about it....but OMG did I get sick.
So I consider Dove plain milk and dark chocolate safe...but they are right...read the bag label...omg wish I had sooner.
