Hi all, I am only a month & 3 days pregnant, and I have a terrible head cold. The sinus pressure is very painful. I've tried a saline nose spray, acetaminophen, hot soup, hot tea, hot shower... nothing has helped yet. I keep finding conflicting information about what cold medicines are safe to take during pregnancy. I don't see my DR until Thursday. I'm wondering if anyone knows of any sinus meds that are both gluten-free & safe to take during pregnancy?
Thanks

I don't think there is anything you can take. I've had a terrible cold for over 4 weeks now (I'm 14 weeks PG) and neither the docs nor pharmacists will suggest anything other than hot water with lemon and honey. And I swear if I hear that suggestion one more time I may just scream. Ugh!!
I just hope you get over you cold quicker than me! Good luck.

Thanks! My hubby bought me a humidifier/vaporizer last night and it helped a lot with the sinus pain. Still have the yucky cold, but it does provide some relief. If you don't have one, I recommend it! Hope you feel better soon

I agree with Ollie's Mom. I've been fighting a head cold for like three weeks now myself and haven't found anything I can take. It's been miserable!
