Wow... So...

I was going to stop TTC starting this month. Thinking this month would turn out like the rest of them with negative results, so we could stop trying for a month or so to heal a bit..But seriously.. after one month on the Gluten Free diet.. Bam....!!!! Positive Pregnancy Test..

If that doesn't say Celiac.. I don't know what will...

So I'm 5 weeks today... And we'll see how this goes. Trying to keep a strict diet of foods I know I'm good with. I'm not trying anything too new at all..Hopefully I can keep this up for 9 months.. Because I don't want it to come back in full force after the baby's born if i eat bad stuff...

Ooh, congrats! That seems to happen a lot around here when women go off gluten. It makes you wonder how the human race ever made it eating all that wheat. Be sure to pick up a gluten-free prenatal vitamin. B)

Congratulations Addis!

News like yours is very encouraging to me! I've been gluten-free since Sept. Didn't get a period in February and had a neg test. Starting to exercise more (not vigorous) and I'm still losing weight. I have always told myself that I would be fairly healthy whenever I do get pregnant. The most I've weighed is 174 and now I'm down to 161. So, it's probably just not time yet.

I hope it is encouraging.. I didn't know how long it would take to heal.. And I was even taking advice from others to wait.. When all the sudden a blaring Positive..

Due Nov. 7th..

You'll definitely have to come over to the justmommies.com forum, November due date 2012.. there is one other mommy that has celiac.. Either or I'll catch you on here!!

BTW- for nausea and morning sickness, so far Udi bread and gluten free ginger snaps are working for me..

Do you have anything your going towards for your morning sickness..??

I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

"her stool study showed she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that." The wording of this part of the sentence does not make any sense at all. I don't mean to insult you, but is English your first language? This part of the sentence sounds like it was generated by translation software.

What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?

Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.

My daughter has celiac disease and has had for a long time. She fell loses strictly gluten-free diet and recently got rid of all cutting boards in any gluten in her house at all. She just had a stool test and it came back showing of gigantic response to gluten in her diet. What could be going on since she doesn't eat any gluten and is very careful about any kind of hidden glue? Help!
