I Think I Just Screwed Up

I was making dinner and grabbed a can of S&W petite cut Tomatoes Diced with Sweet ONions & Roasted Garlic in Rich Juices. I dumped it in the pan, then realized that maybe I couldn't eat it.

I can't find S&W tomato anything on the Delphi lists, and I found an old list that said all S&W tomato products but it was updated in 2002. It has spices and natural falvors. I licked my finger, so I may be screwed, but does anyone know if I can eat hte dinner I'm cooking right now?

I think I'm going to cry.

Oh Man, Can anyone tell that I just started flipping out?? I'm not even sure why I grabbed the can, it was on the "i'm not sure if I can eat this yet" shelf.

Hey, we have all been there. I keep a gluten-free house and went to pick up a can of soup off the shelf today and almost got had. My daughter had picked up several cans off the store shelf and one had apparently been misplaced into a spot with gluten-free ones so it got picked up with the ones that are gluten-free. She did not catch it and I almost didn't. Just the thought of the months of misery that would have caused gives me the chills.

Yes, we sometimes all do stupid accidents.... yesterday I was sitting watching TV, my girfriend had been eating some regular old wheat crackers, and left the package on the coffee table. Without really even glancing at the package, I reached over, grabbed one and put it in my mouth.... what a moron. Luckly the sudden "good" taste in my mouth made me realize, "You idiot, what are you doing!??!" I didn't swallow any but I did feel a little bit crappy(and stupid) afterwards...

Not entirely gluten-free related, I have celiac disease and have apparently developed a corn allergy. I've only been on a corn free diet for a week, so still getting used to it. I was making soup last night and dumped in a bag of frozen vegies....not even thinking....tons of corn in it. Nice. At least my husband can eat it....

Hi Scott, yes I have had symptoms for years and this is the second GI I have seen and he could not believe I have never been tested. He called later today and I am scheduled for an endoscopy. Is there a way to tell how severe my potential celiac is from the results above? What are the chances I will have the biopsy and come back negative and we have to keep searching for a cause?

I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

"her stool study showed she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that." The wording of this part of the sentence does not make any sense at all. I don't mean to insult you, but is English your first language? This part of the sentence sounds like it was generated by translation software.

What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?
    • mishyj
Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.
