Hi all,
It seems like everywhere we go there is facepainting for kiddos. Do you worry about gluten in the facepaint?
Thanks for your thoughts!

Yes! You're not alone.

I worry about face paint also - so I haven't taken a chance.

Although, I worry about "temporary" tattoos too.
THAT might be paranoia :)

Uh oh I used finger paints with a kid I was babysitting today and there was an explosion, it went everywhere! Now I hope it was gluten free....didn't even think about it:P

I do worry about it but I always ask to see the face paint container and it will almost always have the ingredients on it and I have yet to see any face paint with any red flags. My son in particular loves to have his face painted and we have not had any problems. I don't allow any near his mouth though (really, that is probably best for any young child!). Some places do know - for example, in Disney World (of course!), they knew the face paint was gluten free.

My son is deathly allergic to face paint. It burns his skin like fire or a branding iron and he swells up real bad.
