I actually think I posted about 15 posts the first few days but only 10 showed up. I was looking to the forum to help me better learn more about Celiac and also help others with my experience with the disease, but it is hard to do it when my posts do not show up. I have not posted anything inappropriate. just wondered why some posts were removed and why I still need to be moderated!

I'm not sure what happened. Try to answer this and we will see if it works. Maybe the computer can't count?

It still tells me my post will need approval even tho the post that started this thread did show up. Maybe I have posted some of the same material on differeent threads, but when you are dealing with a disease and people ask for your experiences with the disease, there will be a lot of reitions in your answers. The content will be similar maybe to some of my other posts but how can I relate what I have been thru if my posts are removed? just doesn't make sense to me. I came here for help, not rejection.

Try again. Something funny was set on your account and I think it's fixed now. If not, we will have to go above my access to the system.

I am too tired to try anything else tonight. I am an intelligent person who could add value to your forum if I was allwoed to do so.

Hi all. I'm newby. The blood test was negative but then I told Dr I'd stopped consuming wheat three weeks before the needle went in, so it apparently means nothing.

It's certainly celiacs. I had multiple symptoms of it until I stopped eating wheat and woah! Its a miracle. I'm not ill anymore and still improving.

Despite taking iron supps I'm near anaemic. Anyone know how long before my iron levels will get back up to somewhere near normal.

Mod. Let me start topics. I'm a good celiac! I AM!!!

What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?
    • mishyj
Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.

My daughter has celiac disease and has had for a long time. She fell loses strictly gluten-free diet and recently got rid of all cutting boards in any gluten in her house at all. She just had a stool test and it came back showing of gigantic response to gluten in her diet. What could be going on since she doesn't eat any gluten and is very careful about any kind of hidden glue? Help!

I think sometimes the pain described here can be a result of a sort of 'perfect storm' of contributing factors.  Recently I had an appalling bout of lower back pain, lower burning gut pain and what felt like cramps.  I then started to think about what could have caused it and I realised it was several things that had set it off: I'd been carrying heavy luggage (back strain); I had been sitting down in a car for too long and wearing a tight belt (I have pudendal nerve issues and sacroiliac issues and this exacerbates the pain), and I had bloating and burning pain in my colon caused by eating too much soy, latte and caffeine, I guess putting further pressure in the lower abdomen.  I had this same pain prior to my diagnosis and a couple of years post-diagnosis, I'd quite forgotten how unpleasant it was.

HI @Kirbyqueen That's great news your insurance will be kicking in soon.  Sorry to see that you have been dealing with this for six months now, but I do hope you have managed to find some relief with some of the suggestions in the meantime. Perhaps come back and let us know what the doctor says. Cristiana
