Glutened .. From Soup.

Silly me. Didn't ask what was in the soup that was a new recipe at a favorite restaurant.

Is there anything I can do to lessen the reaction? I assume no.

Quite a few soups are thickened with Flour. For the most part if they are thick and creamy then they have gluten in them. Plus you have the chance that someone put a spoon in the soup that had been in a soup that was thickened with Wheat Flour without washing it. I work in restaurants, have for years, I have seen the kitchen, although against health codes and everything else take a spoon with flour still on it and stir a pot without thinking.

You have to be aware of things like this. There is ALWAYS a chance of CC at restaurants!!
