Someone mentioned Johnsonville when discussing brats - I hadn't seen anything "official" on thier site so I wrote them.

:)

Dear Mike:

We appreciate you taking the time to write us with your questions
regarding our sausage products.  We are pleased to hear of your interest in
our products.

In reference to your question, the only products we make that CONTAIN
gluten are the Brown Sugar and Honey Breakfast Sausage, the Beer n'
Bratwurst and the Cooked Beer Bratwurst.

At Johnsonville, we don't want to just satisfy our customers, we want
to elate every one of them.  We truly appreciate you contacting us with
your questions; please feel free to contact us if you have any other
questions and/or comments in the future.  We would love to hear from you
again!

Sincerely,

Pam Henderson

Yea!! I had been eating the ones w/o wheat or beer mentioned in the ingredients. It's just nice to know that I don't have to worry about the safe ones - they ARE safe!!! One less worry, and a big thanks!

We live in Wisconsin, only about 10 miles from Johnsonville. So I am absolutely thrilled my son can eat Johnsonville brats without a problem. Living in Wisconsin, Johnsonville Brats are eaten very, very frequently in the summertime. :P
