I saw there was an older Door County restaurant topic, and since the restaurants change often up there (not all, of course, but enough of them) I wanted to start a new thread. Hope that's ok.
We make an annual trip to Door County, WI and this is my first year of gluten-free and reducing dairy.
Hubby and I were thinkin' pretty dang hard, and didn't come up with much that would work out of our old faves . . .
Ideas?
We will be in a cabin so plenty of opportunity to cook - at least I don't have to worry about going hungry! - but one of the aspects of DC we have liked best is eating out.
THANKS!!!

Well we didn't hear from anyone before the trip, so this is what we learned.
Summer of 2012:
Julie's in Fish Creek has a number of gluten-free options.
Wild Tomato in Fish Creek has a great gluten-free pizza, AMAZING salads and DELICIOUS homemade gluten-free PB cookies.
Greens n Grains in Egg Harbor has a good selection of gluten-free grocery items.
Piggly Wiggly in Sister Bay, surprisingly, does as well.
Top Shelf, across the parking lot from Piggly, has several gluten-free items as well.
Good luck to DC travelers!
