Ugh, as if finding an apartment in The City isn't difficult enough, I am trying to find a gluten-free environment as well! Is there any chance that anyone in the East Village or Greenpoint needs an awesome student roommate??

You should check out the message boards of the NYC Celiac Disease Meetup group. There are often postings for people looking for gluten-free roommates.
