Our family is planning a trip to Maui and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for safe gluten-free dining. We will be in the Kihei area but are always willing to travel for good food! Also, does anyone know if the shave ice syrup is safe? I am dying for shave ice and can't find an ingredient list anywhere! Mahalo!

He knows Celiac well and clearly has excellent protocols for avoiding cross contamination. You don't need to stay there to eat there

Oh, and I don't know if the shave ice is gluten-free, but we believed the likelihood of gluten in it was very low and enjoyed it a few times. We did avoid the toppings. We loved the fact there were no cone crumbs!!! We tried to find places that were only shaved ice (versus also serving ice cream...).
