Rudi's gluten-free Tortillas

1 post in this topic

Finally found the Plain Rudi's gluten-free tortillas at my local Whole Foods - they are pretty good! I used to have a lot of recipes that used tortillas for burrito type wraps and I simply don't care very much for corn tortillas (unless I'm making enchiladas of course...but the flavor is masked by large amounts of sauce, cheese and sour cream)

Anyway, these tortillas are a nice texture - a little stiff, but better than some others I've tried. I did learn today to NOT overheat them as they get overly stiff and chewy. 10-15 seconds in the microwave seems about right depending on the strength of your microwave. I used them today to make chili burritos - held up very nicely! They are in the freezer section, but according to the packaging, can be stored in the fridge or on counter for 10 days - I would keep in the freezer if not using right away though. Just thought I would share...Happy Monday all! :D
