Don't you love the google ads? A year or so ago, we were talking about having a dating service for Celiacs. Kidding around that we could start a section on the forum, etc. everyone started getting an ad for dating sexy Asian girls with basically naked pictures! admin was able to block it.

Ooooo.... Wonder if a dating site or hot sexy cabana boy site will pop up now?

Gluten free singles and a protein bar ad! Lol

If you can read an ingredient labels in micro-seconds….. you might be a celiac!

If you take more Imodium than vitamins….. you might be a celiac!

If you use your inability to drink beer as a reason to drink top shelf liquor….. you might be a celiac!

If people don’t know your name but remember you eat gluten free….. you might be a celiac!

If you’re always asking your friends for the list of ingredients they used for dinner….. you might be a celiac!

If you notice you constantly use the word “rice” as a adjective….. you might be a celiac.

If the pantry is full and there’s nothing you can eat…literally!!….. you might be a celiac.

If you have to explain to every waiter what gluten is….. you might be a celiac!

If beer gives you more than just the “beer farts”….. you might be a celiac!

If you thought you were hearing voices, but it turned out to be the gluten you just ate….. you might be a celiac!

I love that idea.  Ski will too.  I like to make spritzers with my wine and always add ice cubes.  This could seriously work for me  :D

Oh yes!!! Sign me up...I need more s$#& for hubs to make fun of. Not joking...I love to watch him when he thinks something is ridiculous ... Been thirty one years and he still doesn't know sometimes I do it just to watch him try not to be grumpy...mean? Probably ;)

      Today, I received the results of my Tissue Transglutaminase (tTG) Ab, IgA test. I am not sure how to interpret the results. I have left a message for the doctor that requested the test but have not heard back. The results stated that the normal range is from 0.00 - 4.99 FLU. My results came back at 92.08. Is this concerning? This seems extremely high for someone who has reached the age of 50 before finding out he has celiac disease.  The reason that I was administered the test in the first place is due to bloating issues that started about a year ago. I met with a Gastroenterologist and after a short question and answer session she wanted to test me for celiac disease and a bacteria test via the H. Pylori Breath Test. She seemed more concerned with the fact that I am a healthy male suffering from Anemia. Is it possible the anemia could be a result of celiac disease? I have been on an iron supplement for the better part of 5 years.

      Be sure to keep eating gluten daily until all testing is completed.  Here is more info about how to do a gluten challenge for a celiac disease blood panel, or for an endoscopy: and this recent study recommends 4-6 slices of wheat bread per day:

      You can always to the gluten challenge later, after your pregnancy, should you need a formal diagnosis. I think it's best to play it safe in this case.

      Very true. I also suffered from candidiasis which had affected my intestines and toes. I think this might have triggered my gluten intolerance/celiac.
